Last Saturday was another big date on the cross country calendar where the UK’s top club athletes came together for another National competition. Teams had been selected by the relevant governing bodies, in our case NECAA, and five of our DHAC juniors had been chosen to represent the North East Counties at this prestigious event.

Hundreds of athletes from Under 13’s to Seniors descended upon Pontefract last weekend as ‘Northern Athletics’ held their annual premier cross country competition. It was another great turnout at Ormesby Hall today with many great performances from both our junior and senior athletes. Many of our age categories claimed 1st team overall for the day making this yet another successful day for our club. Full results can be found here
This Sunday’s cross country was at Ormesby and with races running out, will our men and women continue to push for those podium places.
