At this years North of England Cross Country Championship the club once again had a good turn out across the age groups. India Pentland took 1st place in the U17 women’s race with team mates Catherine Roberts (16th) Ellie Phillips (50th) Megan Noble (82nd) and Amelia Grayson all contributing to the team win.
In the U17 men’s race Daniel Boyer finished 45th in 21:20 with our second U17 male,James Roberts finishing 101st in 23:22.
Jade Hutchinson was our only entry on the day in the Junior Women’s race,Jade put in a strong performance in a strong line up finished 28th in 21:51.
Later in the day, the men’s race took place, in a very strong field, Paul Allan was the stand out runner finishing 179th in 45:20 ahead of Phil Teece 411th in 51:06, Andy Harrison 441st in 52:07 and Michael Dolan 694th in 70:47.
