Another event to take place on Sunday morning was the new XC race at Preston Park, Eaglescliffe. The course starts with an uneven but flat grass section before turning left and down a fairly steep bank with a sharp left which saw some runners tumble who tried to take the 90 degree turn too sharp.
Whilst the majority of Harriers were nursing sore heads after Friday night’s presentation evening, Mark Tallon and Richard Bowes were in action at the latest instalment of the Harrier League.
