Darlington Harriers Dominate

It’s been a busy week for cross country! Last Wednesday saw a host of junior Harriers taking part in the town’s Secondary Schools Cross Country Championships. This was the third competition in five days for some of them! However, they still managed to provide an impressive show of strength as they dominated the order of events.

Hundreds of young hopefuls from 8 different schools, pounded the fields around Wyvern Comprehensive in a bid to qualify for the County Championships in the New Year. There were 6 races across three year groups: – Year 7, Juniors (Years 8/9) and Inters (Years 10/11). Here’s how some of our junior Harriers faired

Well done to all those that took part, and congratulations to all that qualified for the County race next year
