Haweswater half for Peter

Peter Foulds was the only Harrier at the weekends Haweswater half marathon. The Haweswater Half follows an out and back course from Bampton Village and passes along the shores of Haweswater in a remote and dramatic mountain valley. Duo at Hart Village

We had two of our club members at the Old Monks race. A 5.5 mile multi-terrain race from Hart Village through the dene. Begins on trail and goes into dene, with challenging climbs. Flat tarmac back to the finish Sue Phillips was first home from the club in 42nd place with Brian Burdon 264th place.

Sunday saw a trio of Harriers at the Loftus Poultry Run, a race which is now in it’s 36th year. The race is a multi-terrain course approximately 8 miles in length with three challenging ascents.
