We had some of our runners at the popular Fountains Abbey 10km race at Ripon. Sharon Barlow was first home in 8th place overall, first lady in 40.48, quite a social run for her on the day. Full results can be found here
Sunday saw some of our Harriers in action, at the Lightwater Valley 10km, a race which is undulating and has a little bit of everything with roads, trail paths and grass to start and finish the race. Paul Cook, making his return from injury finishe in 7th place with Kim first lady in 62nd position.
We had a good turnout at todays Snake Lane 10 mile race at Pocklington, a slightly undulating course and very popular on the racing calendar. We saw ten of our Harriers at the first of three races that form part of the Run Billingham Series in 2017. The race is approximately 5 miles and is run at Cowpen Bewley Woodland Park, Billingham on a mix of terrain, including plenty of mud! The second race in the series is the Whitsun
The weekend saw another good turnout of Harriers at Ripon Runners Jolly Holly Jog, a predominately cross country type race covering the 10km distance. Some excellent performances from all of our runners, Simon Rogers first home for the club in 14th place. Full results can be found here
Sunday saw a good turnout of Harriers at the Heaton 10km memorial at Newcastle’s Town moor. Fairly flat but exposed to the elements. Some impressive performances on the day, Drew Inglis the first of our runners to cross the line in 33.46. For full results click here
Today saw a large turnout of Harriers in memory of Gavin Duffy, the Billingham Marsh Harrier who’s life was tragically cut short while Gavin was in his prime. Great to see so many clubs coming together to support. Full results can be found here

This weekend saw a handful of our runners at the Hellhole 10km race, an out and back multi-terrain course of approximately 10K consisting of good cycle tracks, footpaths, muddy fields and country roads. To find out how our ladies got on, click here
This weekend saw a number of our athletes running one of the three events a Kielder, a set of scenic events that see competitors run either the 10km, half marathon or full marathon races. We had a small number of seniors at this weekends Gateshead 10km trail race. The Gateshead Trail 10k that winds through the Derwent Walk Country Park is a fast, fun, and scenic race, with only a few inclines. Full results can be found here
There was another large turnout at this years Darlington 10km race, a race which sees runners racing from the back of Boyes completing two laps of a 3 mile route before turning onto Skinnergate and onto High Row for a finish in front of everyone’s friends and families. Sunday saw a handful of our Harriers at the Castle Howard 10km race, a race which sees competitors run off road around the grounds. Barry Bell was first of our runners home on the day in 48th position. Full results can be found here
We had a huge turnout at the clubs home race, the pitstop 10km which takes place at Croft race circuit and sees competitors undertake 3 laps of the race. Fantastic turnout with over 100 Harriers taking part on the night making this a very successful night for the club. Club results below and full results
