Today we had three of our runners at the Hamsterley 10km race, an event that takes runners up before a quick descent back through the valley to the finish.Lee Hammond was first of our three across the line, finishing in 54:29 with Jen Harrison and Jo-Anne Tarn running together to finish in 75:42.Well done all!
Paul Oyston was in Nottingham this weekend to take part in the Nottingham Outlaw triathlon. Unfortunately the bike section had to be cancelled due to flooding on the road but that didn’t stop Paul achieving a PB in the marathon breaking the 4 hour barrier for the first time!Well done that man.
Val Clarke was the only Darlington Harrier running the midweek ‘Inclined to Madness’ race, an event which is around 10km but with a 375m ascent in the hills of North Yorkshire. Val had a great run finishing 74th in 68:32. Great work Val.
