Paul Cook was at the scenic and challenging Durham Coastal Half Marathon this weekend 13.1 mile route along the coast from Seaham to Crimdon Dene, which has lots of tough climbs, gates to cross and steps to climb. Paul finished 25th in 1.35.30. Full results can be found here

Two days after running a new PB of 37.32 at the Mermaid 10km and a day after a 18.17 at parkrun Paul Cook was racing again, this time at North Tyneside at their 10km race. This time he took 12 seconds off his best finishing 39th from the 1500 runners in a time of 37.20.
On Good Friday there was only two Harriers at New Marske’s Mermaid 10km race, a race which starts from the back of the Mermaid pub, takes runners through the streets of new Marske before two loops around the sea front and back towards the finish line which is pretty much a 3km straight. Paul Cook

Ellie Phillips was one of a number of Harriers at the Junior Great North Run this weekend. Some really impressive results, no more so than Ellie who finished 2nd in her age group in 17.56. Impressive displays by all our junior contingent. Full results can be found here
