A week after Aycliffe 10km, Paul Cook was the only Harrier at the Great North 10km, a race which starts outside of Gateshead stadium takes runners out and back along the quayside on an undulating route before back up a couple of climbs and into the stadium for a grandstand finish.
Paul finished in 63rd place in 39.36 despite his ongoing calf problem.
