Minutes silence for the lives lost at Boston Marathon 2 weeks prior

A small number of Harriers headed to the capital for this years London marathon, a race which sees runners complete 26.2miles through the streets of London as they go past some of the fantastic architectural structures such as Buckingham Palace and Big Ben.

Paul Cook running his first marathon finished in 3.07.20, the lack of understanding of how hard this event is certainly hindered progress in the last 10km of the race. Linda Noble was next home with an impressive 3.10.24 with the evergreen Shirley Gibson finishing 3.47.53 and Mark Haymer 3.55.36. Amazing achievements all round.
