Midweek saw the return of the NYSD track and field competition, this time at Middlesboro. Some fantastic performances on the evening, full results of which can be found here
Colin Taylor was one of the Harriers on show tonight at the first NYSD event of the year, taking part in the 1500m race here at Eastbourne. On the evening Colin finished in a time of 4:43.5 for 5th place covering all age groups. Full results can be found here
Sunday saw another good turnout for the club on our home turf as the Harriers held the South Park 20 event, a 20 lap event around the towns largest park. Colin Taylor was first home for the club finishing in 3rd place with Paul Cook 6th. Full results can be found here
Saturday saw the return of the Hetton Lions 2.2mile relay event, an event which has women in teams of four and men teams of six completing the undulating route before passing the baton to their team mate. Ackley heads, Durham is a tough course and today was no exception with large areas of thick mud making it tricky for all our runners. Again the club turned out in force and represented the club brilliantly so big thank you to every last one of you who ran today! Full results of the event
It was another good turnout at Foxrush cross country today, the next instalment of the NYSD XC season. Some excellent results throughout the age groups, no more so than in the senior male race where Harriers finished 1st and 3rd as well as taking 2nd overall. Full results can be found here
Sunday afternoon saw the Harrier troops swarm to Thirsk to take part in the NYSD relays to kick start the Cross Country Season. Some fantastic team performances with plenty podium places on the day. Full results can be found here

We saw another good turnout at the testing Richmond 10km race which has three testing climbs over the 6.22miles. Russell Adams our second claim runner was 5th overall which meant we had three of our runners in the top 10. Full results can be found here

There was another large turnout at this years Darlington 10km race, a race which sees runners racing from the back of Boyes completing two laps of a 3 mile route before turning onto Skinnergate and onto High Row for a finish in front of everyone’s friends and families.
