This Sunday’s cross country was at Ormesby and with races running out, will our men and women continue to push for those podium places. Another good turnout from our men and women with even Carl Jones (Richmond) and a Quaker runner desperate to run for the club…I mean who wouldn’t!!Results will be published next week.
Last Sunday we had seven of our athletes in action at the Wynyard Park Trail Race. Colin Taylor was once again first home for the club in 2nd place in 17:54 with Harry Lyons finishing 37th in an impressive run. PhilTeece finished 40th on pacing duties again for one of his athletes with strong runs

Four Harriers made the short trip to Bishop Middleham to take part in Gerry Kearsley handicap event which is based on competitors 10km times. The event is over multi terrain and free to enter. Nicola Young picked up the fastest woman trophy this year after posting the fastest time versus the time submitted. Well done

Sunday saw the 11th McTaggart Trot starting from Barton Village Hall. This fun run event sees teams of 3 compete over an eleven mile course out round Middleton Tyres before looping back to Barton. Runner one drops off at 4 miles while runners two and three run to the next check point at around 7.5
