You may be surprised to hear that our Under 17 endurance champion, India Pentland, recently ran her first ever parkrun.
Burning off those mince pies she took part in Darlington 5k parkrun at South Park on the 29th December and, in typical India style, managed to set a new age category record of 17:59 despite going the wrong way at one point!
Nice one India! A great start to the new year and hopefully a sign of things to come for the rest of the season!
