Summerhill results
Last Sunday at Summerhill, Hartlepool we saw the latest NYSD XC race. Well results are now out, our men finishing in an excellent fourth place but our ladies finished top of the pile with some superb performances.

On Sunday at Summerhill, Hartlepool, the next event of this seasons Cross Country took place. A tough course made worse by poor conditions as the recent poor weather had turned the course into a mud fest. The course a multi lap event saw women take on 4.6km and the men 8.9km with a few tasty
Preston Park XC Results
Last Sunday saw the Harriers take on the new XC race at Preston Park, Eaglescliffe. Results are now out which had the women finish 3rd and the men 4th on the day. Another brilliant turnout for the club. Well done everyone who competed.
More on the Moor
On Sunday morning on Newcastle’s Town Moor was the first event of this season’s Grand Prix 10k league, the Heaton 10k. For those who haven’t been to the town moor, it’s a fairly flat and fast course however it is very exposed to the elements so days of poor weather can have a big impact

Last Sunday afternoon the club were competing in the Thirsk relays which is the start of the cross country season, the 2.2 mile relays. Some good performances from both the men and the ladies on the day. Respect to everyone who ran on the day and gave it their best for the team.
Relay hard graft at Thirsk
On Sunday afternoon a number of Harriers headed to Thirsk for the start of the cross country season, the 2.2 mile relays. Official results have yet to be released but hopefully we can match the achievements of last year and get a huge turnout of Harriers for future XC events. Well done all who competed
Record turnout at Darlington
On Sunday morning on home turf, the Darlington Harriers were out in force as nearly 200 club runners pulled on their club vest to run in both the Darlington 3k and 10k races. Some fantastic performances on the day, many personal bests, some course bests and some first timers. You should all be very proud
Twenty go to Gateshead
