On Sunday morning on Newcastle’s Town Moor was the first event of this season’s Grand Prix 10k league, the Heaton 10k. For those who haven’t been to the town moor, it’s a fairly flat and fast course however it is very exposed to the elements so days of poor weather can have a big impact on runners times.
Still that didn’t put our hard-core Harriers off, Shaun Marshall first home for the club in 34th place in 37:05 and even a couple of personal bests from the group.
Well done everyone, tough conditions today I imagine.
