Top Junior Pitstop Performance

DHAC hosted another hugely successful “Pitstop” event last week, when athletes from all over the region took over a sunny Croft Circuit for the evening. There were two events to choose from for our junior section; for the younger ones, a 2k fun run, and for our older athletes a 5k run against the seniors!

Virtual Great North Run

Sunday 13th September should have been Great North Run day, the day of the year a lot of our athletes look forward to most. For obvious reasons, there was no actual event this year, no 50,000+ runners heading across the Tyne Bridge and no “Oggy, Oggy, Oggy”, but that didn’t stop a lot of people

Harrier Ladies take Third

Last Sunday saw a number of our harriers at the Thirsk relays to kick off the Cross Country season. Getting things underway was the ladies and with Sarah Guy, Megan Noble and Bernadette Caygill in good form a third place on the day was an excellent result. Kelly Sloan led the team of Linda Noble

NYSD Cross Country

Here We Go Again!Yes, it’s finally here. That character building season filled with mud, wet and tears is now upon us! After a long (and successful) track and field season, it’s time to fit those longer spikes and stock up on the washing powder as we welcome in the new cross country season. As usual,

Harriers Swarm To York

We had a large contingent of Harriers at this Sunday’s Jane Tomlinson 10km race. This is a good event which takes runners through York City Centre before bringing runners along the river and back to the racecourse. We saw a number of our recent Couch to 5/10k group make the trip, all of which should
