A large contingent of the clubs senior section headed to one of the clubs 10km Grand Prix races at Northallerton today. The race, which starts and finishes in the high street, has a bit of an up and down feel to it with runners having quite a steep climb for a few km followed by a fast downhill stretch bringing athletes back to the high street for the finish.
We had a superb six of our runners in the top 20. Paul Allan first to finish in 3rd place in 35:03, Louise Talman 1st lady in 40:35, Colin Taylor finished 1st F40, Pauline Brown 1st F55, David Nalder 2nd M55, Paul Allan 3rd MS and Karl Hume 3rd M45. Tony Winward and Barry Talman were our other runners finishing in the Top 20.
