Parkrun continues to increase it’s popularity with new events springing up what seems a weekly basis. Paul Allan ventured up to Whitley Bay this Saturday morning to a long established event, back to his home base, finishing in 19:07. Results can be found here
We had a small number of Harriers at the scenic off-road handicapped race. The route of approximately 6.5m is on beautiful paths around Hardwick Park and Bishop Middleham. Results can vary depending on what estimated time is provided by the runner but full results from the day can be found here
Paul Lowe was one of a small number of Harriers at tonight’s Cowpen Bewley 5km race and didn’t disappoint on the evening. In a good race Paul finished 4th in 18.45 while team mate Simon Rogers finished 7th in 19.40. Full results for all of our runners can be found here

We had three of our runners at this years Roseberry Topping Fell race. Roseberry Topping, was once considered the highest peak in North Yorkshire and due its dramatic shape draws comparison with the famous Matterhorn. We had a handful of Harriers at the midweek Watergate 5km trail race. It is hosted by Lowfell running club and up is set in the lovely scenic surrounds of Watergate Park, Lobley Hill. It consists of 2 laps of the park around the lake. It was also incorporating the NEMAA multi terrain 5km championships.
Tonight saw the return of the Tom Wall relays where once again the club had a good turnout for this 4 x 1mile relay event which is very popular on the local scene. Some fantastic performances again from our group, full results will be published here when available.
