Harriers join the Festival

On Sunday morning a number of Harriers headed to the coast to take part in the Redcar Running festival, an event which covers the Beacon 5km race, half marathon and a new 10km event.

For those who haven’t ran at Redcar before, it’s pretty much pan flat so ideal for personal bests if you can get the right weather on the day which can always be the tricky part.

Sunday was pretty kind to runners, although a little breezy at certain parts of the course but nothing that would concern runners who have trained at Eastbourne track!! Some excellent performances from our runners including a fantastic 2nd place from Drew Inglis in 15.25 and 7th place for Graham Hindmarsh.
