We are the Champions
This weekend saw the Senior Track & Field team finally clinch promotion and the league title. Congratulations to captains Mark Tallon and Sue Phillips and all athletes who have contributed.
Jarrow Arrows
We had a small number of our Masters head to Jarrow this evening to compete in the North East Masters AA league. Results have yet to be released but will be available on the Power of Ten Website, results from the 100m heats can be found here
Harriers win at the Handicap

Sunderland 5km

NYSD T&F, Middleboro
Tonight saw a number of our athletes at Middlesboro for the evenings NYSD Track and Field meet. Quite a few disciplines on show this evening including the 100 and 800m races. Results will be published later this week.
Twenty go to Gateshead
Today saw a good number of our Senior section at the Great North 10km race, an event which starts outside and finishes inside Gateshead stadium. Some really good performances on this (mainly) flat and fast course Full results can be found here
Trio at the Lykewake
We had three of our athletes in action at this years Lyke Wake Challenge, an event which sees essentially competitors crossing the North Yorkshire Moors from Osmotherley to Ravenscar. Composite team at Whitley Bay

Saltwell Fell Race
Today saw a small number of Harriers at the Saltwell Fell race a tough 5.6m race. Paul Lowe was 2nd across the line in a speedy 46.07 with Natalie Curgenven taking 1st place in the ladies race finishing 22nd overall in 55.52. 85 ran on the day. Full results can be found here
