Natalie Curgenven was in international Triathlon action again this weekend in the Age-Group qualifier for the 2017 ITU World Standard Distance Triathlon Championships.
The iconic market town has a medieval Castle and many other attractions set in the South Downs National Park, for a great racing experience. The River Arun flows through the town for a fast swim, followed by a one lap cycle, before descending into the historic town of Arundel.
Stunning two lap run through Swanbourne Lake and a closed road circuit in the town and finish back in the shadow of the castle.
1.5km river swim (mostly one-way) | 40km 1-lap cycle across South Downs National Park | 10km closed road run (2 x 5km laps).
Nat did herself proud by finishing in a time of 2:17:28 for 164th place
