Cronkley fell race

Today saw three of our runners head to Holwick, near Middleton in Teesdale for the Cronkley Fell race. the race covers 10.5miles and has climbs of 1755ft so a tough one on the legs. Results have yet to be published but the trio were full of smiles….at least before they set off!

Milner at the Lykewake

Mark Milner was in action this weekend at the Lykewake 42mile challenge, a race which gets competitors to take kit with them and go through the following check points along the way. Rutherford to the Coast

Jamie Rutherford was the lone Harrier at this years Northumberland Coastal Half Marathon which sees competitors go off path around the scenic Northumberland countryside. On the day Jamie finished in 34th place in 1:29:10. For full results click here

Cleveland Steelman

Paul Oyston was in action this weekend, this time at the Cleveland Steelman. Steelman events are literally a half of a full Ironman Triathlon event with competitor’s undertaking a 1.3mile swim, a 56mile bike ride followed by a half marathon….i’m exhausted just typing that out! Pitstop 10k

We had a huge turnout at the clubs home race, the pitstop 10km which takes place at Croft race circuit and sees competitors undertake 3 laps of the race. Em on the Tyne

Emma Morley was our only Harrier at the midweek Bridges of the Tyne 5mile race, a race which sees competitors run along the quayside before turning and coming back along towards the finish. Emma finished 205th in 40.02. Full results can be found here

Talman 3rd at Gateshead 10k

We had another good turnout at the Gateshead 10km race today, a race which begins outside the stadium at Gateshead takes runners out and back and into the stadium for a 300m grandstand finish.
