Sunday saw the town’s 10km race take place, on what seemed like another warm day. The race which starts from the back of Boyes in the town centre takes runners up to Stanhope Road, Woodlands Road, Carmel Road, Coniscliffe Road, doing a second loop before taking runners along Skinnergate before a final finish on High
Ten days after the Great North 10km race, Paul Cook along with a number of Harriers headed to the clubs only race, the Pitstop 10km race held at Croft Circuit, a 3 lap race around the racing circuit ending down the pit lane. Paul was first home from the club runners finishing in 36th place
