Today saw a number of Harriers in Track and Field action at Middlesboro Sports Village in the latest NYSD event. Some amazing performances on the day no more so than our very talented bunch of sprinters. Results have yet to be released but will be available through the Power of Ten website.
Matt Capsey and Mike King were in action at this years Lyke Wake Challenge, an event which sees essentially competitors crossing the North Yorkshire Moors from Osmotherley to Ravenscar. The weekend saw three of our runners at the Hardmoors 55. The Hardmoors 55 is a 55 mile Ultramarathon running from Guisborough to Helmsley. The 55 mile race takes competitors through the North York Moors and the Cleveland Hills in tough conditions. Matt finished 63rd in 10hrs 39 with Mark 98th in 11 hrs 14.
