Kelly Sloan and Amanda Trees headed to the border to take on the Carlisle Half Marathon on Sunday morning.
The event, which starts and finishes at Brunton Park Football Stadiu (home of Carlisle United FC), see runners start from the main straight at the back of the East Stand and run into Rickerby Park before heading to Linstock & Crosby on Eden before turning back on what will be an out and back route.
Kelly was first home of our two ladies finishing in 166th position in 1:47:24 and 13th in her age category, with Amanda 191st in 1:50:16 and 11th in her age category; both achieved personal bests.
