The second Dishforth Dash 10K event being held at the recently decommissioned MOD Airfield near Ripon North Yorkshire in support of the Army Benevolent Fund (ABF) was held on Sunday morning.
The event offers a fantastic opportunity for runners of all abilities to run on this former WW2 airbase. The route takes runners initially around the airfield perimeter road with the second loop incorporating the length of the main runway.
We two athletes in the field of 203 runners, Allan Harder who finished 130th in 53:52 and in 152nd place Dave Hamer finishing in a time of 56:19.
