Under 13 endurance expert, Daniel Richardson, has been out of action for a while due to an injury……so much so, he had to withdraw from the UK Inter County Cross Country Championships at Loughborough last weekend. He was devastated not being able to represent the North East, but the good news is he was given the all clear to compete again on Monday…..which was just in time to take part in the Barnard Castle School Year 7 & 8 Cross Country race.
The course was over mixed terrain of track and grass, covering a distance of 3 miles. It seemed like the injury was just a distant memory, as Dan produced an admirable performance to comfortably take 1st place. Nice one, Dan, great to see things are back to normal! Well done!
