Paul Allan was in action at one of the fastest 5km races in the world, the Armagh 5km international. This event attracts a high calibre of athlete each year and to even break into the top 200 runners you would need to go sub 15:40!
On the evening Paul finished 225th in 15:54 for a new personal best, taking a couple of seconds of his previous. The mens race on the evening was won by Adam Clarke, from Aldershot, who won a close race in 13:42, winning by two seconds with the top 20 runners all going under 14 minutes.
