Sunday saw a small number of Harriers at York Run York’s latest running event – the Elvington Flyer. A flat and fast race around Elvington Airfield. The race marks the 100th anniversary of the RAF and goes straight down the runway of the airfield!
In the 5mile race Sarah Addison was first home, in 52nd place smashing her previous best significantly with other good performances from Dave Hamer (71st) Trevor Mitchell (116th) and Lou Kavanagh (149th) both making their debut.
Tony Williams,aka Kenny,was the only Harrier running in the 10mile race finishing 20th in a new personal best of 72:56. Great work by all of you!
