On Sunday morning we had one of our club races at South Park in the form of a 20 mile race. This race which is new to the running circuit over the last few years is there to aid local runners with their spring marathons. Some fantastic support by many club members on the day once again allowed this event to happen so thank you for supporting!
In a small field Colin Taylor showed his class by breaking the 2 hour mark and winning the event. Tony Winward,another who has been in great form ripped up his old best by taking 33 minutes of it for a 2:13.
Fantastic performances all the way through the field including Nev Ford 1stV50, Linda Noble’s 2nd place finish including debuts 20 milers and a PB from Zoe Rogers. Great work all round, well done.
