Another local race to take place on Sunday was Melmerby 10km, a short trip down the A1 outside of Ripon. Three Harriers made the trip which proved to have mixed fortunes for the trio.
The course is one big loop so kind of an out and back with a few tricky little climbs to tackle along the way. On another warm day for runners, Daz Thompson was first Harrier home finishing 5th in 35:42, Steve Wilkinson 19th in 38:35 and Paul Cook 24th in a dismal 39:23 still struggling with an ongoing hip injury.
Well done gents good running by you both, I nearly ran out of fuel twice today which would have been ironic!!
