On bank holiday weekend we had a large turnout of runners at the local Tees Barrage 10km. This race although not large still gets around 500 competitors each year and is a good one to do as it’s part of the Grand Prix 10km league and is pretty much on your doorstep
Darren Thompson was first Harrier home despite a lack of training of late finishing 3rd in 35:53 ahead of bearded Colin Taylor 4th in 36:05.
Louise Talman was first lady on the day finishing 10th in 38:37, but fair play to all runners as Monday was a hot day for any runners so well done all who ran.
