Duo at Hart Village

We had two of our club members at the Old Monks race. A 5.5 mile multi-terrain race from Hart Village through the dene. Begins on trail and goes into dene, with challenging climbs. Flat tarmac back to the finish Sue Phillips was first home from the club in 42nd place with Brian Burdon 264th place.

We had three of our athletes at the Guisborough Woods 8.8km off road race between Christmas and New Year, a race which forms part of Esk Valley’s Winter Series. Sisters Georgie Rutherford and Susie Stephen were part of the Stoops Fell race, a 5mile race with an 800m climb over the distance. Sunday saw a trio of Harriers at the Loftus Poultry Run, a race which is now in it’s 36th year. The race is a multi-terrain course approximately 8 miles in length with three challenging ascents.
