Keswick Half Marathon is said to be one of the most scenic half marathons in the country. The challenging course takes runners around Derwentwater with an extra loop into the Newlands valley. We had two of our athletes in action on the day, to see how Ian Morris and Barry Foster got on, check out
David Bracken was our only Harrier in action at this years Paris Marathon, a race where temperatures got a little warm for the competitors on the day. David battled against the rising temperatures to finish in 3.43.24. Full results can be found here
Running a marathon is tough. Running a marathon in record heat is extremely tough as many of the runners at London marathon found out today. With temperatures soring to 25 degrees and limited air along the route, runners fell by the wayside as many staggered home to the finish including some of our crew. Absolute
Ian Threadkell was our only runner at this years Great Edinburgh 10 mile race today. Ian finished this 10 mile race in a time of 1:36.25. Full results can be found here
We had a handful of our athletes in duathlon action this weekend at Stockton. Results from the boys have yet to be released but here’s some photos from the day.
Alison Matthews was our only Harrier at this weekends Blackpool Marathon, a race which is flat and fast and takes runners along the promenade. On the day Alison finished 24th overall but second lady in 3.07.44. Full results can be found here
The Anniversary Waltz race was set up by fell runners Wynn and Steve Cliff, to commemorate their wedding at Newlands Church in the Lake District. Now in its 21st year, this is becoming a classic medium-length fell race, taking in 12 miles and (more than) 3600ft of ascent in the Newlands Valley. The race route
We had a handful of our runners at the out and back Hamsterley Forest 10km race and with some success. We had 4 of our runners in the top 7 for this small event with Kyle Cook taking first place ahead of Paul Allan in second and Shaun Marshall fifth. Well done to all of
The usual suspects were back at the Swaledale marathon, the 24 mile race is very popular and has been running, pardon the pun, since 1979. Dave McKenna was the first of our athletes home finishing in 28th place but great performances from all our athletes on the day. Full race results can be found here

We had a handful of our Harrier ladies at this years North Tyneside 10km race, a race which takes runners from point A to B along the coastal route with a few undulations along the way. To find out how all our ladies got on, click here

It was the return of the very popular Mermaid 10km race this good Friday, a flat and fast 10km race which takes runners from the Mermaid pub in New Marske, around the housing estate to the coast for a couple of loops and a long 3km run back to the finish line. Some impressive performances
Peter Foulds was our only runner at the Bridlington Five this weekend. Peter, looking very relaxed in the photo below finished the course which has been marked near as dam 5miles in 35:40. Great work Peter
Julia Leach was our only Harrier in action at todays Maidenhead Easter 10 mile race. Julia finished this event in 1:49.36. Full results can be found here
Danielle Clark and her family took on the Chocathlon event, a 9 kilometre easy trail run/walk, feed stations stocked with CHOCOLATE! Run, walk or crawl your way around this chocolate themed event and eat chocolate while prizes are being handed out for 1,2,3rd place, best team name, best fancy dress as well as a medal
Today saw Harriers head to York for the flat and fast Vale of York 10 mile race, the little brother of the Half Marathon event. This race is perfect for anyone looking to achieve a personal best or get some speed work in over the distance. Full results can be found here
We had three of our runners involved in the Wensleydale Wander, an event where there is a choice of two circular walks, one a 23 mile challenge and a shorter one of 12 miles, both starting and finishing in Leyburn. Full results can be found here
An exciting introduction to the Dales Trail Series with testing ascents, spectacular ridge-running and fast technical descents. Now in its second year, this is a fully marked route which starts and finishes in Reeth, Swaledale. Results have been published here
