Having already qualified from the previous round, a Junior Boys team from Carmel, along with Inter Boys teams from Carmel and Hummersknott and an Inter Girls team from Carmel took on teams from Northumberland down to Humberside in a bid for a place in the Cup Finals. As usual, there was a host of Harrier talent competing, producingsome outstanding performances.

Nat Bell ran the 200m in the last round but fancied increasing that to 300m after trying the distance for the first time at last week’s NYSD.
