Viv Pow and Danielle Clark made the short trip down the A1 to take on the Ripon 10mile race, a very scenic multi terrain race, which starts and finishes on Hell Wath Nature Reserve.
The hilly but picturesque course takes runners from Hell Wath around the Studley Royal Estate with beautiful views of Ripon and the stunning, surrounding countryside.
This race is actually mainly on road and path but a great event to do. Viv was first home in 313th place in 1:41:34 with Danielle 390th in 1:51:03.
