A big turn out of Harriers headed to Sunderland on Sunday morning to take on one of the morning races, with a 10km and half marathon on offer. In the 10km race, Brian Burdon rolled back the years to finish first of the 10km runners in 54:28.
Tina Corah pictured here on the left clearly had way too much fun as she finished just over the hour mark. Well done all of you who ran, little bit windy on the route too today.
Catherine Anderson with Phil Doonan pictured right as she smashed her half marathon by 17 minutes.
In the half marathon a larger turnout of Harriers were on show for the undulating course. Some excellent performances on the day with massive personal best performances from Catherine Anderson (17mins), Sarah Holmes (16mins), Simon Daniels (6mins), Jenn Hardy (11mins), Gerda Arts (6mins), David Ralph (6mins) and Anthony Seaman (2mins).
We also saw Tony Willimott make his debut for the club so technically that counts too!
Regardless if you managed a PB or not on the day, that was a toughie so well done for getting round
