Not for Den Dale

On Saturday morning we had three of our runners at the Dentdale Run which is a 14.2 mile (or a 7.9 mile) road race staged on the roads and lanes around Dentdale in the Yorkshire Dales.

The course follows a figure-of-eight course, it winds up hill and down dale, starting and finishing at Dent Primary School, where finishers are treated to a hot drink, sandwich and cake! The race is known for being one of the most scenic road races locally with all proceeds go directly to Dent C of E Primary School.

Of our three runners, David Aiken was first home in 73rd position, Steve Rogers 94th and wife Zoe (pictured) 170th of the 283 runners. Well done guys.
