After a long wait, Gabby Hall finally got her hands on this trophy from school. It’s now engraved to show all the girls 5k cross country winners dating back to 1987, and she can proudly show that she is one of them…..and rightly so. Well done, Gabby

Lily Thompson was in action last Thursday in the final match of the Gateshead Indoor Series. She’s been working really hard in training recently, and this is obviously paying off…..she managed a new PB in the shot put with a fantastic throw of 7.53m! Well done, Lily, a great effort! Dad, Brian tells us, “she’s determined to get through the 8m barrier and you could see her determination tonight.” Keep up the good work, Lily and we’re sure you’ll hit that 8m mark very soon!
Big sis, Rosie wasn’t there tonight as she was at Air Cadets. She’s also training hard, getting ready for the Kieran Maxwell Memorial event.

Exciting news for India Pentland….following another fantastic performance in Saturday’s English Schools’ National Cross Country Championships, she has been selected to run for England in next week’s home international competition at Nottingham! Congratulations, India, we’re so pleased for you…..I suppose it was only a matter of time! Next stop, Team GB!!
