Endurance runner, Savannah Tarn took part in a charity run over Easter, this time to raise money and awareness for St. Teresa’s Hospice. The event took place on Easter Monday at Darlington’s South Park, following the Park run route over a distance of 5k.
Although it was a charity run, Savannah, in true Harrier style just couldn’t resist trying to beat her own PB! But in the heat of the day she just missed out; still a fantastic run though, being the first girl home (5th overall) in a time of 23:41 – with a well deserved medal and Easter egg at the finish.
Well done Savannah, and the rest of the family! A great run for a great cause…..and we’re sure you’ll get that PB next time
