On Tuesday night at Middlesbrough we had a number of competitors in the 3000m race, in addition to Andy Harrison and Kate Bower in the 200m/400m races. Andy smashed the field in the 200m finishing his graded race in first place, with Kate Bower also impressing finishing in 31:43. Andy then finished 7th in a very strong race in the 400m, putting in an excellent 57:81 for the 400m. Brilliant running!
In the 3000m it was Adam Mitchell who put in a Usain Bolt like final 200 metres to finish second with a new personal best of 9:01.11. Some excellent performances throughout this race with a number of personal bests. Karl Hume implementing some race tactics to draft training partners and overtake them with 150m to go. Well done all who competed.
