There was 272 runners at the midweek Millennium Bridge 5km race in York, on a lovely evening for racing taking runners out around a flat course, around the park’s lake then back over the other side of the river for a fast finish. Sharon Barlow was the first of our two runners on the evening finishing 24th overall in 17.07 for a new personal best with Paul Cook 43rd in 17.46. The race was split into two races, a A and B race, the A race being the faster of the two. The winning time for the A race was 15.48 from Harrogate’s Andy Grant with the B race finishing in 18.34.
