Sunday morning saw a number of Harriers in marathon action in Manchester, a race described as the flattest, fastest and friendliest UK marathon (still 26.2 miles though!!!).
Some fantastic performances from the Harriers, Alison Matthews once again first to finish despite being unwell in the lead up to the event, Pauline Brown finished in an excellent 3:37 and 9th in her age category with strong performances from Jamie Baldasera, Andrew Glencross (pictured right) and Ian Brown finishing within five minutes of Pauline. Paul Oyston finished in 4:38 despite being unwell and really shouldn’t be running and Hilary Bevan who finished in a superb 5:23.
Fantastic achievements from you all for all different reasons, seriously well done!
