Sunday saw Mark Haymer as the only Harrier to head to Northumberland for the annual Active Kielder Marathon. The Active Northumberland Kielder Marathon route follows an almost entirely off-road course around northern Europe’s largest man-made lake, Kielder Water, in Northumberland. Mark is a firm favourite of this event and was tackling this undulating course for the 5th time!
Mark had a great run on the day completing the course in 3:45! Great running Mark. In the half marathon, Steven Craggs took on the half marathon and despite lack of training for the event finished in 1hr 56.
