Mike King followed up last year’s successful event at Gainford by running a funrun to raise money for Ryan, a young boy from the village who was diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy which is a severe and progressive muscle wasting disease.
The event raised just short of £300 which is a fantastic achievement, but rather than hear from me, hear it directly from Mike.
Some people step up when there is no personal gain, others don’t. You definitely stepped up!
