There must be something in the name India that breeds success….like India Pentland, India Oates has also represented her country, when she took part in the World CP Games earlier this year, and came home with a couple of medals! Well she’s been in the limelight again recently winning even more awards….
The first was Active Durham Sports and Physical Activity Awards for South and West Durham. She won the Sport & Physical Achievement Award and will now head to the regional finals in January at the Gala Theatre in Durham. Then, just last week, she was invited to the Teesdale Mercury Community Pride Awards where she won the Award for Young Achievement! If that wasn’t enough, on the 6th December she’s been invited to the Northern Echo Awards at Wynyard Hall.
