Heather’s Hanging Stones

Heather Mochrie was in action this weekend for the 24 mile long 3,500 feet ascent LDWA Hanging Stone Leap event on Saturday 6 August. A cooling breeze on the highest peaks of the course was a relief to runners in the warm temperatures, as they climbed Captain Cooks Monument and Roseberry Topping before returning to Guisborough.

On the day super Heather Mochrie was the big winner as she once again claimed first place in the ladies race. Results for the event have yet to be released but we do have a photo of Heather picking up her award.
