We had a number of Harriers head to Sunderland to take on the Pier to Pier race. This is a fun race which starts and finishes on the beach and sees runners making their own way to the Pier which is around 6.8miles away.
Simon and Maria Daniels were first and second Harriers home on the day but this event is definitely one all runners should experience as it’s a whole lot of fun, especially when over 1200 runners are charging across the beach, quite a spectacle! Well done all of you.
