Julian and Amanda Waller along with Darren and Sara Gee headed to Keswick this weekend taking part in the 25km trail race, part of the Keswick Mountain Festival. This festival takes place on the banks of Derwentwater on the outskirts of Keswick in the Lake District. Darren was first to finish in 25th position in 2:18:16, in186th place Julian finished 2:56:05 ahead of Amanda in 282nd in 3:12:17 and Sara in 4:03:00 for 463rd place.
Also competing on the day was former Darlington Harrier Alison Matthews who resides north of the border, finishing 50th in 2:26:20 for her new club Metro Running Club Aberdeen. Well done all of you!
