Sunday saw an early race in the calendar, the annual Brass Monkey. The course is pretty much flat with the odd incline but this is a fast course around the country lanes of York. Paul Cook was first home for the club in 77th place, a new personal best for him in a time of 80.42 with Andy Dobson 89th in 82.19.
Second claim runners Sharon Barlow and Tori Green showed their class by both going sub 80 minutes finishing 63rd and 64th positions in 79.39 and 79.52 respectively for 2nd and 3rd.
